Recipe Ice Tea Apple & Lemon

  • 2 litres water
  • 5 rooibos teabags (or any teabags of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (raw)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 apple

          1. Bring the water to a boil (you can use your kettle).
          2. Add the teabags to the water and stir it.
          3. Stir in the cinnamon and honey (optional).
          4. Let it stand for about 1 hour. The longer it stands, the stronger the tea.
          5. While it stands, slice the lemon (keep the skin on) and leave a quarter of the lemon not sliced; slice the apple.
          6. Remove the teabags. Let it cool down to room temperature (if it isn't cool yet).
          7. Add the sliced lemon and apple. You can squeeze the quarter lemon's juice into the tea.
          8. Refrigerate it until you serve it with some ice.
