Marna's handy tips

  • You can also add coconut flakes: replace ¼ cup seeds with ¼ cup coconut flakes for a different taste
  • Chocolate bars: leave out raisins and halve the nuts used: then add ½ cup chocolate chips
  • The baked goods should cool down for at least 2 or 3 hours before you cut it - it may crumble and break apart if you cut it while it is still hot
  • Enjoy as a snack with a cup of rooibos tea; or keep it in a container for a easy snack on the go.
